It is possible that I may have a compulsive disorder when it comes to buying vintage buttons. I went to some antique malls last weekend and I came home with quite a few jars of buttons. I got some new storage containers at Hobby Lobby so I can finally organize my button collection.
This was my Saturday night project, what an exciting life I lead.
Ta-da! It took me till Sunday afternoon, but I finally finished sorting.
OH good LORD, it's like looking into a mirror! Not that I resemble buttons but that I did this very same thing a few weeks ago - and loved every minute! I bought a jar of mixed vintage buttons (I am obsessed!) and actually washed then dried them, then sorted into a box... might have to post pic to show you!

I just LOVE vintage buttons. I love digging my hands down into large quantities of them and feeling them run through my fingers! There is something about the mystery to them that constantly keeps me captivated.
