Buttons For All!

It is possible that I may have a compulsive disorder when it comes to buying vintage buttons. I went to some antique malls last weekend and I came home with quite a few jars of buttons. I got some new storage containers at Hobby Lobby so I can finally organize my button collection.

This was my Saturday night project, what an exciting life I lead.

Ta-da! It took me till Sunday afternoon, but I finally finished sorting.

A Ring for Every Finger

I made kind of a fantastic score last week, 3 jars of vintage buttons at an antique mall.  On top of my massive collection of buttons, by default, I'm now collecting old jars.  Most of them are pretty cool though, just need to think of something to do with them.

The, oh so important, de-stinkify process.

Buttons as far as the eye can see.

My purty little rings all finished!

Flea Market Finds

This morning I'm writing a quick blog next to the floor furnace as I wait for my space heater to warm up my sewing room. I hate talking about the weather but I'm about over this. I'm longing for Saturday's delicious weather! This weekend boyfriend and I hit up some garage sales and the Flea Market and I scored some pretty sweet stuff.

Etsy

I just listed these lovely items on Etsy.

I finished a ton of rings last night and they turned out so well. I want to wear one on every finger!

Sent a bunch of Cuffs and Headbands to Dwelling Spaces today, just in time for the Dunny trading party tonight.

Tres Cool

Made some cuffs this morning. I usually try to make 100 at a time but it gets really boring to do that so I just did 20 today. These puppies will be on their way to Dwelling Spaces tomorrow along with the new headbands. I was going to write a bunch of stuff but I'm too tired so here is a picture story of what I did today. Enjoy

Buttons!

Buttons were a big part of my day.

I pick out a few, ha, of my favs to put together for some new vintage buttons rings. Vintage buttons, while yes they are very cool, are also very stinky. Just so you know all vintage buttons used in my rings have been tediously cleaned and de-stinky-fied.

We've had a very special house guest this week....Molly the dog. Mary Beth, the owner of Dwelling Spaces is Molly's mom and she lives right around the corner from me so sometimes I go over and let her out, but since Mary Beth is out of town this week Molly is staying with Aunt Cristi.

I finally made some price signs for Blue 7 today. I've been meaning to make these for months, so I felt a great sense of accomplishment when I actually got them done. Now lets see how long it will take me to mail them.
