Its Girlie Show Time!

The Girlie Show is this weekend, I'm so excited. I will be driving from Bloomington to Tulsa on Thursday and then my mom, the best craft show helper in the world, will be accompanying me to OKC on Friday to kick off a weekend of girl inspired awesomeness. I can't wait to see some Oklahoma peeps especially one of my my super faves, Stelabird.

Here is a little sneak peak at some of the bags and vintage buttons rings that will be making an appearance this weekend. Hope to see some of your smiling faces!

A Ring for Every Finger

I made kind of a fantastic score last week, 3 jars of vintage buttons at an antique mall.  On top of my massive collection of buttons, by default, I'm now collecting old jars.  Most of them are pretty cool though, just need to think of something to do with them.

The, oh so important, de-stinkify process.

Buttons as far as the eye can see.

My purty little rings all finished!

yes yes yes

Since I found tons of buttons at the flea market a couple of weeks ago I decided it was time to make some more rings. Actually, I was in the middle of making some coin purses at the time but I couldn't wait to go through all my new finds. I promptly cleared off my work table and spread out all the buttons. You cannot just pick through them in the container, it is necessary to dump them out on the table and spread them out to get the best view. I'm pretty sure I took a picture of that but now I can't find it so you'll just have to use your imagination.

Mashed potatoes and asparagus for dinner. Yum!

Tres Cool

Made some cuffs this morning. I usually try to make 100 at a time but it gets really boring to do that so I just did 20 today. These puppies will be on their way to Dwelling Spaces tomorrow along with the new headbands. I was going to write a bunch of stuff but I'm too tired so here is a picture story of what I did today. Enjoy
