Adventures in Dress Making Part 2

Success! I conquered the pattern and finished the dress last night. Though, I must admit, there were tribulations. Let's just say that the finished dress is actually dress number 2. With three or so steps left on the first dress, I discovered that it didn't fit, unless I could get used to it choking me. So, back to Joann for a new pattern and new material.

Love it with my new cowboy boots! Yee haw!

My mom, Ms. Green Thumb, let me plant a few rows of lettuce and spinach in her garden this afternoon. It should be ready in 7 to 10 days. Who new that it grew so quickly? Can't wait!

  1. You asked when the lettuce would 'come up'.... that's way different then when will it be ready to eat. !! Not 7 - 10 days. LOL. I think it said something like 45 - 60 days. Sorry... I know your taste buds were getting ready.
